Adding a column in CrossTab Datawindow

To add a New Column

To Add a new column in CrossTab Datawindow without changing the layout the most efficient way is to use Edit Source. Following are the steps.
  1. Go to EditSource mode of the Datawindow
  2. Add the Colum Definition:
  3. Add the column on SQL
  4. Add the sorting
  5. Create the Column parameters
  6. Create the header parameters
  7. Add the column name to , columns and sources and "sprase" at the end of the Edit source.
  8. Save the Changes. That's it.

Grant Persmission for All Table and Procedures in a Database

Execute the following code, it will give your the output as the statements. Copy those statements and execute it. All the procedures and Table will get Grant Permission in few minutes 

Code to Get the Script for Procedure. 
 
SELECT
  ' Grant Execute on  '+s.name+'.'+pr.name +'  to UserGroup1
FROM
    sys.procedures pr
INNER JOIN
    sys.schemas s ON pr.schema_id = s.schema_id;

Code to Get the Script for Tables

SELECT
'Grant Select,Insert,update,Alter,References,Delete on '+s.name+'.'+t.name+' to UserGroup1'
FROM sys.tables AS t
INNER JOIN sys.schemas AS s
ON t.[schema_id] = s.[schema_id] 
WHERE t.name like 'p_%'


Duplicate Rows Deletion

Simple Query to Delete the Duplicate Rows Using CTE Table:

WITH CTE AS (SELECT *,ROW_NUMBER() OVER(PARTITION BY unique_column ORDER BY col2) as 'RankNo'
             FROM Table)
DELETE FROM CTE
